  • The removal of inflamed synovial tissue in impingement syndrome and inflammatory diseases
  • Adhesion release
  • Removal of osteophytes (bone spurs) in degenerative disease
  • Rigidity of the upper and lower ankle joint (arthrodesis)
  • Excision of the triangular bone at the back of the ankle
